Seismology professor Naci Gyorur warned of the possibility of a major earthquake in Turkey, with strong fears for Istanbul, possibly even 9 Richter.
Naji Gyorur, known for his predictions, said in an interview for Sozcu newspaper: “Being under the influence of a magnitude 9 earthquake means that even very well-built buildings can be seriously damaged.”
As he said in a possible earthquake in Istanbul, most of the problems will be on the European side. “Think of a strip of the first 10 kilometers starting from the coast of the Marmara Sea. There will be a lot more problems there.”
