An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 was registered this Wednesday in the province of La Rioja in Argentina, the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center announced.
According to the same source, the earthquake had a depth of 127 kilometers.
The first information from the US Geological Survey (USGS) reports the epicenter of the earthquake, which was also felt in Chile, at 79 km. from Villa San José, in the Vinchina region of La Rioha province.
