An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 hit eastern Turkey on Thursday, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
The earthquake was at a depth of 10 km (6 miles), the EMSC said. No casualty has been reported so far.
A power of earthquake of magnitude 7.8 had jolted Turkey, near the border with the Syrian Arab Republic, in February 2023.
This quake was followed approximately nine hours later by a magnitude 7.5 earthquake located around 59 miles (95 kilometers) to the southwest.
